Reports this year conclude that more than 1 million small businesses are using Facebook to reach out to current and potential customers. Besides advertising, companies use Facebook Business Pages** to connect with their fan base.
It’s easy to create a Facebook business page, and depending on your client base, it might even be easy to accumulate “fans”. But then what? Here at Edigitize we wanted to know, “how do you convert followers into dollars?” Drawing on research and our individual experiences as “fans”, we determined that for a company to use Facebook effectively, they must be constantly interacting with their fans and frequently posting relevant content to their profile. Below are three great ways you can go about doing this:
1. Use your Facebook wall to showcase new samples regularly! This is a great way to not only show off your quality work, but also introduce products that might be new to other followers.
2. Besides posting information related just to your product or company, be sure to mix things up by posting other content relevant to your fans. The best example of this is industry news, but another way to interact and engage is to post questions and start a conversation with your fans.
3. Another way to keep fans coming back is to post discounts and savings. This not only drives business your way, but when you offer special savings for fans, you give them a great incentive to follow you in the first place.
