Happy December, everyone!
This year has most certainly flown by, and we here at Edigitize are so excited for the new year that we are about to encounter in a matter of weeks! But before we get too excited about things to come, we want to take this last month of 2011 and reflect on the past year. To do this, we have selected 5 designs that we have digitized over this past year which we and our customers think turned out especially great!
Here’s how it works: Every Tuesday during the month of December, we’ll be spotlighting a fabulous design we had the privilege of digitizing during this past year.
To kick things off, we actually have a design that was done exactly 1 year ago! One of the highlights of our job is getting to see all the different designs placed by our customers around the country and world, including some really neat military logos! This week’s design spotlight was embroidered by Debbie Reis at Embroidery to Go. This design took almost 2 full days to be digitized, resulting in 339,205 stitches. Debbie said the sew-out took 9.5 hours, and amazingly, this beautiful jacket back design sewed out great the very first time, with no major issues! It was sewn out on a jacket back to be given as a Christmas gift. (Needing any last minute Christmas gift ideas?).
Here’s a glimpse at the process unfolding:
