I was glad to hear that ASI is planning another virtual trade show soon. Some of the Edigitize team attended the virtual show this week and were impressed with the format of the show. The show was an easy, almost effortless way to find suppliers, chat with other “attendees”, or visit educational “sessions.” And the cool thing is, you still get to “attend” after the event (visit the link above to find out how). And my feet weren’t a bit sore, nor did I have to run through airport terminals or drive for hours to get there! Go ASI!
I found this great article today about marketing during the tough times by ASI CEO Tim Andrews. There is no doubt that all of us are feeling the effects of the recession. And, we’re all uncertain about when the recession will be over. However, where will YOU be a year from now? Will your customers be more committed to buying from you? Will you have more customers? Will your customers be telling their friends about you? I believe the answer to those questions is up to you. There is business out there, the question is, will you be the one to get it. Tim’s article and research speak to this. I especially like the research he mentions from the 1980s and 1990s–275% sales growth over 5 years sounds pretty good!
